Heraeus Medical USA to Showcase Innovative Products and Solutions at AAHKS 2024

YARDLEY, Pennsylvania, October 31, 2024 - Heraeus Medical USA is excited to announce its participation in the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) 2024, held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas November 7-10, 2024. As part of the company’s commitment to education and clinical excellence, Heraeus Medical USA is proud to be hosting two Resident Lab Bio Skills Courses on Thursday, November 7th, 2024. These interactive sessions will provide an invaluable hands-on learning experience for orthopedic residents, guided by faculty experts from across the country. The courses will cover primary hip, primary knee, and cementing techniques, and for the first time, participants will be working with cadaver specimens instead of traditional sawbones—offering an unmatched opportunity for real-life practice and skill development.

In addition, Heraeus Medical USA is looking forward to discussing the newest products to the U.S. market, COPAL^® knee moulds for preparation of temporary bone cement knee spacers, and COPAL^® G+V*, a high-viscosity dual antibiotic-loaded bone cement with gentamicin and vancomycin to support PJI treatment and suitable for fixation of COPAL^® exchange G hip spacer to the host bone.
