Reduction of the Risk for Periprosthetic Joint Infection

COPAL® products are based on the many years of experience of PALACOS® bone cement for the permanent fixation of endoprostheses in the bone. COPAL® bone cement with the antibiotic combination gentamicin and clindamycin supports the infection management in arthroplasty procedures in high risk patients in primary and trauma cases as well as in aseptic revisions by preventing periprosthetic infections. A selection of specially developed COPAL® products is available for the use in septic revisions.
