Wehrheim, December 12, 2024 – Nicole Petermann, Co-President of Heraeus Medical, will hand over the management of the company to Arthur Charlet, effective January 1st, 2025. As second Managing Director he will assume the company’s leadership together with Dr. Andrew Williamson who is Co-President since 2019 already.
Nicole Petermann is leaving the company at the end of December at her own request and for personal reasons.
Nicole Petermann has been Co-President of Heraeus Medical since 2019 and on the Board of Managing Directors of Heraeus Medical since 2017. She joined Heraeus Medical in 2008 as Head of Finance and became Head of Finance & Commercial Services in 2010.
Under the co-leadership of Nicole Petermann and Dr. Andrew Williamson Heraeus Medical has strengthened its market leading position and has developed into a truly dominant global business with a strong direct footprint. In addition to geographic expansion Heraeus Medical focused on organic innovation. Intense R&D activities resulted in innovative new products and the envisaged portfolio transition towards Simplification and Infection Management.

Arthur Charlet joined Heraeus in February 2012 and started his career as a trainee in Finance/Controlling. After working in project controlling at Heraeus Electronics and in M&A and strategy, he took over as Head of Finance of Heraeus Comvance in 2021. Since September 2023, he has been Group Senior Vice President Sustainability, where he is responsible for the topic of sustainability within the Heraeus Group.
