The Gold Standard with Longer Implant Survival Rates

In 1972, PALACOS® R+G was introduced as the first commercially produced antibiotic-loaded bone cement by Heraeus (Kulzer) and is considered the gold standard in arthroplasty today.1,2,3

Real-world data from the world's largest arthroplasty registry, NJR4, regularly prove: hip and knee implants cemented with PALACOS® R+G show significantly lower revision rates compared to other bone cements and thus have longer implant survival rates.5,6

Indications

PALACOS® R+G is indicated for use in the second stage of a two-stage revision for total joint arthroplasty after the initial infection has been cleared.
